Head Waiter/ress

A head waiter leads his/her subordinate staff in hotels and restaurants. He is responsible for:

  • welcome the guests and assign them to the tables

  • advice to guests regarding food and drinks

  • accepting orders

  • respond to requests

  • agreements with the kitchen

  • supervision and coordination of service personnel

  • training of apprentices
